My passion for art first started when I was drawn into a world of hooded figures on public transport. Individuals, all-consumed and hooked into the virtual world that lay in their very hands. By making use of my artistic skills, I have been able to transform this encapsulated reality of what consumes us to recreate the world that truly surrounds us by drawing inspiration from my life's work and involvement in my charity, supporting the homeless across Central London and the home counties.
In the future, I hope to be able to focus on the world of skateboarding and mental health through my own sculpture work. More specifically, drawing upon the connotation of finding the right element of balance on the board as well as the balance we all seek in our daily lives.
My background in art started at the Hampstead School of Art where I undertook a Diploma in Fine Art. From there, I longed to continue my passion by experimenting with various materials which over the years has transpired into me producing many portraits using pastels, clay, acrylics, cardboard and oils.
My charity work with the homeless across has led to much of my inspiration focusing on a new found reality taken from the perspective of life on the streets. With that, has come my want to recycle cardboard, the most common form of housing used by those who are found homeless and sleeping rough. Through my work I aspire to pursue a more sustainable influence on how one can look up to my work rather than down on individuals often left alone. The most uplifting part of my recycled art is that I am then able to rehome my art on behalf of those who seek a home most.
My main interests lie with helping people. Whether that be through my childcare work or on a weekly basis helping to support the homeless in Central London and the home counties. As well as helping people, I also like to spend my time listening to music, visiting art galleries and scouting out new street sculptures across London.
